The Anti-Tourist

I like to beat new paths for myself.

Thankful

Do you know the feeling of that first celebration in mid-Autumn? When it's getting chilly so everyone cozies up inside with friends and family? For me, that first event symbolizes the kick off of the festive season, and this year we started it off with a bang - my second graduation!

For those who have been following this site for long enough, you'll know that last year I got my first law degree, after three years of sweat and tears. Well, after another grueling year my friends and I managed to snatch our diploma, the second step towards finally becoming lawyers!

Once again, I have to thank all those who stood by my side this long, long year. It was the toughest one yet, and I would never have made it without the help of my nearest and dearest! (that includes you too, dearest coffee machine)

After the ceremony, we hopped off to Guze in Valletta, which is becoming something of a tradition in my family. Whenever there's something special to celebrate, this is the first place that comes to mind!

Glorious, glorious food, excellent service and a beautiful atmosphere in the heart of the capital - it's really the perfect place to laugh and be merry! I couldn't recommend this place enough. When you go, make sure to try out the rib-eye, cooked to utter perfection, and of course, the chocolate fondant - a melting lava of hot chocolate pouring out for your delight. Bliss!

Nights like these are what make life worth living, and they remind me that no matter how hard the challenges may seem, I always have my comrades standing beside me. That's so much to be thankful for.
